About this Event
We are an inherently visual world, where images speak louder than words. Data visualization cannot be emphasized enough especially when it comes to big data and data analysis projects.
Women in GIS Kenya in collaboration with Pathways International , Esri Eastern Africa and Nakala Analytics will be hosting a 2 days workshop to build the capacity of university students specifically in:
- Elements of a good visualization
- Data analytics
- Data storytelling
The session will include:
- Hands-on
- Keynotes
- Presentations and demonstrations
- Group discussions
The workshop is in an effort to build a data-driven community with an effective tech talent pool.
Participants should carry a laptop to the training. The session is open to university students only.
